Municipal Water Supply and Sewerage Company of Heraklion (DEYAH)
DEYAH is one of Greece’s most prominent and best-staffed municipal water supply and sewerage companies.
It employs more than 20 engineers. Its services are staffed by 30 scientific staff, leading 60 technicians and a large team of contractors.
It has extensive experience in managing financial projects and programs. Especially for reuse issues, it has one of the most advanced tertiary wastewater treatment systems (part of which have been financed by competing programs of the European Economic Area).

Larnaca Sewerage and Drainage Board (LSDB)
The Larnaca Sewerage and Drainage Board (LSDB) is a public law body that operates autonomously with revenues from taxes and wastewater treatment. The Organization consists of 53 scientific and working personnel, well trained in its field.
LSDB has a laboratory where the necessary daily analyses of incoming wastewater and outgoing tertiary treated water are made. LSDB has experience in managing financial projects through the Structural Funds from which the construction and expansion of the upgraded Wastewater Treatment Plant were financed.
This plant has advanced technology equipment for tertiary treatment via MBRs, a chlorine production unit, and a chlorination tank before disposal for irrigation.

Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU)
The Hellenic Mediterranean University (HMU) operates on six different campuses in Crete, with more than 15,000 students and 400 staff members. Executives of the Laboratory of Natural Resources Utilization and Agricultural Engineering of the Department of Agriculture participate in T4H.
Professor – Vice-Rector, Th. Manios, leading them. They have implemented more than 20 significant research and development projects in the last ten years, including three Interreg Greece – Cyprus Projects (ACUA, BIOMASS, IMAST). They have an extremely well-equipped laboratory and experienced scientific and technical staff. They have had more than 15 publications in wastewater management in the last five years.

Nireas - International Water Research Center (University of Cyprus)
Nireas International Water Research Center of the University of Cyprus has extensive experience in managing and treating urban wastewater through its participation in many research projects, national and European, with a total budget of more than 12 million euros.
It is the only research center in Cyprus that manages and treats various liquid waste. The Director of the Research Center, Dr. Fatta-Kasinou, holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and a Ph.D. from the NTUA.
Today she is a Professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of the University of Cyprus. She has written 145 scientific articles and participated in 170 scientific conferences. Plus, she has coordinated 38 research programs. In the T4H Project, participate Dr. Fatta-Kasinou, three experienced researchers, and one young researcher.

University of Aegean – Water and Air Quality Laboratory (UoA-WAQL):
The University of Aegean has developed successful collaborations with research institutions, companies, development, social, and business organizations through its research workforce and research laboratories.
Its team consists of executives of the Water and Air Quality Laboratory of the Department of Environment. WAQL educates students and conducts high-level research on wastewater treatment and utilization and environmental pollution.
In the last 10 years, the University of Aegean has implemented more than 10 research projects in these fields. At the same time, 10 relevant doctoral dissertations, 20 postgraduate dissertations have been prepared, and more than 40 articles have been published in prestigious international scientific journals. In T4H Project, the working group of the University of Aegean consists of the Assoc. Professor and director of WAQL, Ath. Stasinakis, Assistant Professor M. Fountoulakis, 1 experienced researcher, and 2 young researchers.
